Liverpool targeting CSKA Moscow midfielder Alan Dzagoev

Liverpool are preparing a summer move to sign Russian midfielder Alan Dzagoev from CSKA Moscow, according to TuttoMercato.

With a wealth of European experience, Dzagoev has helped his club to claim the Russian league title last year as well he has been a part of Russia’s EURO 2012 campaign.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to bolster their squad ahead of Champions League qualification for next season, and it is believed that 23-year-old midfielder is the ideal option this summer.

The silky attacker, Dzagoev has established himself as one of shining star in Russian football League, has scored 33 goals in 137 domestic league appearances for CSKA Moscow.

However, yet it’s not clear that how much would the current league champions demand for the attacking midfielder.
