Lucas Torreira on Roma radar?

AS Roma are weighing up a summer move for Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira.

The Italian outfit were interested in signing Granit Xhaka earlier this summer, but a move did not materialise due to the €35m price tag.

Xhaka has since signed a new three-year deal at the Emirates.

Football.london now reports that the Giallorossi could still do business with Torreira is said to be the target of the North Londoners.

The Uruguay international is deemed surplus to requirements at the Emirates, and he has been linked with the league rivals Lazio in recent weeks.

Arsenal are expected to cut their losses on the 25-year-old midfielder, who is under contract with the Gunners until 2023.

It remains to be seen whether Jose Mourinho’s side will meet the €15m price tag for Torreira’s services.
