Real Madrid are reportedly weighing up a £25million January move for Chelsea midfielder Ramires, reports The Mirror.
Real boss Carlo Ancelotti is chasing the Brazilian in order to bolster Real’s midfield department to support Ronaldo and Bale up front.
Ancelotti is desperate to strengthen his midfield options as the recent speculation suggested that Sami Khedira is all set to join Arsenal in January, and he has identified Ramires as the ideal replacement – he would like to bring him in at the Bernabeu.
According to reports – the European champions have to pay £25million for the 27-year-old’s signature, who could provide more strength and depth in midfield.
Ramires has established himself as a key figure at Chelsea since joining the west London club in 2010 from Benfica. The midfielder has scored one goal and provided three assists in three Premier League appearances so far this season.
