Man United keeping tabs on Lyon’s Malo Gusto

Manchester United have reportedly set their sights on a deal for Lyon defender Malo Gusto.

The 19-year-old established has proven himself to be a first-team regular last season, contributing five assists in 37 appearances across all competitions.

The teenager has continued to remain a key figure in the Lyon set-up this season after starting all nine top flight games, and his performances have understandably attracted interest from other top European clubs.

According to 90min, the Red Devils have sent scouts to report on Gusto after making enquiries about the defender in the summer.

As well as Man United, scouts from Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have all been keeping tabs on the Lyon youngster.

Borussia Dortmund, Juventus Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are also believed to be interested in the Frenchman, who is currently under contract at the Groupama Stadium until June 2024.
