Manchester City eyeing move for Bilal El Khannouss

Manchester City have reportedly outlined their intentions to move for Genk starlet Bilal El Khannouss.

According to Belgian outfit HLN, the Premier League champions are one of the sides keeping firm tabs on the 18-year-old playmaker’s situation.

However, the Belgian outfit remain uninterested in selling the teenager for at least another 18 months.

The Morocco international is already attracting plenty of interest from elite clubs across Europe and the UK.

Pep Guardiola’s side are keeping track of the youngster’s progress in Belgium and could expect to keep the dialogue open with the Belgian club and take timely updates regarding the player’s progress.

City are always in the market for young talents and are willing to fork out big. However, in the current transfer window, they are also open to bringing in some new faces from elsewhere to become a part of their roaster and gradually grow into first-team stars.

The Mancunian giants could even approach for El Khannouss this month to understand what it may take to bring him to the Etihad.
