Patrice Evra to join Juventus?

Manchester United are reportedly planning to sell their an experienced defender Patrice Evra to Italian club Juventus, according to reports from the Express.

The Frenchman, who signed a new one-year contract at the Old Trafford on May 2014 that will keep him at the club until at least the summer of 2015, but now with recent reports suggesting that the Serie A giants Bianconeri are keen on the 33-year-old full back ahead of next season.

Evra joined the Red Devils in 2006 from Monaco and since then he has establish himself as one of the best left backs in the Premier League. However due to his poor performance in the last season, United are now looking to replace him, despite his new contract with the club.

It’s understood Manchester United are desperately looking for a new top class centre-back for next season and have already secured the services of Luke Shaw from Southampton and reportedly keeping an eye on Ricardo Rodriguez of Wolfsburg.

During his nine-year long term tenure with United, Evra won five Premier League titles and the Champions League.
