The Spain international has been repeatedly linked with a summer move back to his home country, with the 10-time European Champions keen to bring the 24-year-old to the Bernabeu.
The report suggest that Real’s first choice keeper Iker Casillas, who still has two years left on his contract, has agreed to move on from the La Liga giants after 16 years at the Spain capital and Los Blancos preparing a bid for De Gea, who might be available at around £22m.
Big story via @rtve: Casillas has reached agreement to leave Real Madrid this summer. De Gea will sign soon, could be presented next week.
