Report: Manchester City begins Aymeric Laporte talks?
Manchester City have reportedly started negotiations to sign Aymeric Laporte from Athletic Bilbao.
Earlier, it was claimed that the upcoming City boss Pep Guardiola had informed club management that the 21-year-old was his prime defensive target.
However, the Citizens had cooled their interest after the French centre-back being ruled out until August after suffered a broken leg and dislocated ankle in March.

Nevertheless, the Premier League giants have pushed ahead with the deal and the report claims, an agreement is in the final stages.
It is understood that the defender will command a transfer fee somewhere in the region of £35m.
Laporte has made over 100 appearances since joining the Spanish outfit in 2012.
