Report: Tottenham interested in Inter defender

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia, as reported by Calcio Mercato.

The Italy international who’s set to leave the San Siro in the January transfer window after failing to make an impact in Roberto Mancini’s side this season- having played only five league games, all of which have been substitute appearances.

The Nerazzurri are looking to cash-in on the centre-back, with the report suggested that Premier League outfit Spurs are amongst the candidates, with Everton and Newcastle United are also said to be interested in the 27-year-old’s signature.

Ranocchia joined Inter from Genoa in 2011, and has made 161 appearances for the Serie A giants, won the Coppa Italia in his first campaign.
