The Gunners set to seal the deal of Young Nigerian Midfielder?
|Arsenal are on the verge of signing the midfielder Kelechi Nwakali, according to the chief executive of his club ASJ Academy.
The Gunners have been tracking the Nigerian since January and stepped up their interest after the teenager turned 18 in June.
Nwakali came into the limelight after his impressive performance during Nigeria’s FIFA Under-17 World Cup victory in Chile last year and since then the Gunners managed to stave off competition from a number of clubs to agree a deal for the midfielder.

Arsenal are believed to have paid £3m for Nwakali, who was named the Player of the Tournament during the 2015 FIFA Under-17 World Cup.
