Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly offered £60 million for Barcelona winger Raphinha.
Despite joining just 18 months ago for £55 million and contributing to Barca’s La Liga triumph last season, Raphinha’s recent injury has jeopardised his starting position, with teenager Lamine Yamal emerging as competition.
The Catalan giants, facing financial constraints, might accept the bid to alleviate their financial woes, especially with plans to secure Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix’s permanent transfers. Spurs, already well-stocked with attacking options, aim to bolster their squad further.
Interestingly, Liverpool, potentially facing Mohamed Salah’s departure, have Raphinha on their radar. With Jurgen Klopp’s impending exit and uncertainty surrounding Salah’s contract, Liverpool are eyeing replacements, including Johan Bakayoko.
Manchester City are also interested in Bakayoko. The dynamics of the transfer market could shift significantly if Salah decides to leave, leaving Liverpool in need of a suitable replacement amidst competition from other top clubs.
