Arsenal close in on La Liga ace

Arsenal have reportedly made an £18million offer for Real Sociedad winger Antoine Griezmann to spruce up their attacking options, according to the Metro.

The Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is keen on the 23-year-old winger after failing to acquire his services back in January.

The Frenchman has earned his first caps for his country for the world cup 2014 this year. Although he is looking for a move away from the Anoeta Stadium.

Griezmann has established himself as one of the stand-out players at the Spanish outfit in the recent seasons, has scored 16 goals in 34 appearances in La Liga this campaign making him Sociedad’s top goal scorer.

The Sociedad star is capable of playing on both sides, who has attracted interest from Serie A giants Juventus but it’s believed the player would prefer a switch to the Premier League rather than Italy.
