Everton Eye Swansea defender

Everton are reportedly linked with Swansea left-back Ben Davies for a possible January move as a potential replacement for defender Leighton Baines.

Everton have been in talks with the defender and the deal could be made in the opening of the January transfer window.

The 20-year-old has apparently caught the eye of Everton boss Roberto Martinez with his impressive performance in this Premier League season.

The Welsh youngster is reportedly viewed as the ideal replacement for Baines at Goodison Park.

Manchester United were keen to sign Baines, but a move to Old Trafford failed to go through in the summer.
