Manchester United interested in Christian Pulisic

Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United.

The 24-year-old has struggled to make a significant impact at Stamford Bridge during the 2022-23 season, with just one goal and two assists in 21 appearances across all competitions.

While Pulisic has one goal and one assist in 16 top flight appearances this term, the attacker has been absent from the league since early January due to a knee injury.

Amidst a flurry of rumours concerning his future, the American is in the final 18 months of his contract with the Blues.

As per reports, Chelsea’s transfer activity in the last two windows has made Pulisic redundant for the upcoming summer transfer window, resulting in the club’s decision to sell him.

The Mirror suggests that Manchester United are one of the five teams closely monitoring Pulisic’s situation. The other clubs interested in securing the forward’s services are Newcastle United, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, and Los Angeles FC.

Moreover, a recent report indicated that the La Liga champions Real Madrid could also be a potential contender, with Pulisic’s adaptability appealing to the European champions.

The Red Devils are expected to be in the market for new attackers this summer, as they may let Anthony Martial leave on a permanent basis. Wout Weghorst will also return to Burnley after his loan spell.
