Real Madrid Interest in Liverpool Striker Suarez As Summer Approach Becomes Likely

Spanish giants Real Madrid have again been added into the transfer rumour mill with the latest big name thought to we wanted by the side that have been branded as the ‘Galacticos’.

Reports this morning show that following their start to their season only allowing them to occupy the third place spot in the Spanish La Liga this term, they are looking to add more fire power into their attacking line up and Carlo Ancelotti seems to be interested in making a summer approach for one of the Premier League’s most in form strikers, Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.

With the Uruguay international in fine form this season, finding himself as the leading goal scorer in the Premier League so far this season, attention seems to be growing surrounding the problematic striker that has had his fair share of questionable moments while at the Merseyside club.

With talk surrounding Suarez’s future at the club following a delay in the player signing a new contract offer from Liverpool which is believed to be offering £200,000 per week in a deal thought to be looking to tie the striker into a new 5 year deal as Brendan Rodgers looks to keep hold of his prize asset.

With Liverpool unlikely to want to sell the striker at any cost, Real Madrid will be hoping that Suarez will continue to stall on his acceptance of a new deal, giving them a better chance of being able to convince the Merseyside club to part with the striker before he looks to force a move as his contract expiry draws closer.

Supporters of the club are known to be hopeful that the striker will put pen to paper on a new deal in the near future in order to reduce the risk of losing the player to the Spanish giants with one fan reported to have jokingly asked the striker for his signature outside of the Liverpool training ground on a piece of paper that turned out to be a declaration that Suarez would remain at the club on a new 5 year deal, however unfortunately the document was not legally binding and offers little more than a small amount of enjoyment to the savvy fan.

Speaking to a Liverpool fan Simon Ambler said that the loss of Suarez would affect Liverpool and their standing the Premier League, saying “Without the goals and assists that Luis Suarez has provided for the club so far these season, Liverpool would not be in the strong position that they are in now, unless another of their strikers was able to relieve the loss that his goals and assists being removed would bring.”

Ambler pointed out that interest in football transfer special offers is growing slowly as the prospect of the January transfer window draws closer and claims that Suarez to Madrid seems to be getting a lot of interest in recent days following the belief that Madrid can capture any target that they want enough, saying “If they could convince Spurs to part with Gareth Bale like they did, they have a real chance to be able to get their hands on Suarez too.”
