Reports: Real Madrid set to bid £20m for Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris

The Spanish club Real Madrid are reportedly weighing up a £20m January bid for Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, according to The Express.

The European champions have made the Frenchman as their number one target to replace long-serving Iker Casillas, who is still struggling to recover from his form this season.

Lloris, 27, only signed a new five-year contract with Spurs in the summer and remains Mauricio Pochettino’s first-choice keeper at the White hart lane.

Los Blancos could face a tough competition from the French champions Paris Saint-Germain for his signature.

Lloris has made 82 appearances for Spurs since joining the club in 2012 from Lyon.
