Twitter reacts as Manchester United beat Newcastle 3-1
Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney scored the first goal for the Red Devils in the 23 minutes after a fine assist by Radamel Falcao.
The 29-year-old England international then doubled 13 minutes later giving his side’s advantage.
The Dutchman – Robin van Persie added a third at Old Trafford with a header just eight minutes after the interval.
The victory brings United’s third-placed in the league table, 10 points behind leaders Chelsea.
