West Ham keen on signing Hertha Berlin winger Salomon Kalou?

West Ham United have allegedly earmarked Hertha Berlin winger Salomon Kalou as a potential signing before the end of the month.

The Ivory Coast international, who established himself as one of the finest attackers during his six-year stint at Chelsea between 2006 and 2012, contributing 60 goals in 263 appearances.

While the 34-year-old has scored at a similar strike-rate for the Bundesliga club, the midfielder now finds himself out of favour at the Olympiastadion Berlin.

According to German outlet Kicker, Kalou has requested an exit in the coming days, which is said to have led to interest from the Hammers.

West Ham are looking to bring in competition for the Frenchman Sebastien Haller as the east London outfit look to bolster their attack for the second half of the season.

The Hammers are currently sit in 17th position in the Premier League table.
